Classic in style but spiced up with the option of five simultaneous hands, Multihand Classic Blackjack Gold is just the kind of game you go for when you want nothing more but some good old-fashioned blackjack with a higher turnover potential. Played with five decks, this gold line Microgaming release comes with a wide bet range equally convenient for big spenders and thrifty players.
Player starts the game by placing the bet onto the selected bet areas and clicking on “deal”. An additional “clear bet” option is available in case you would like to change the stake amount. Once the cards are dealt, one can ask for an extra card or choose to stand. Same cards can be split, unless the player is dealt with the face cards. For hands with hard totals of 9,10 and 11, the player will be presented with an additional option to double down, or increase the bet for 50%. Doubling is limited to the first two cards only. If the dealer's upcard is an Ace, the players will be asked if they care for an insurance. Once they agree, half of the bet made on the relevant hand will be returned to them if the dealer draws a blackjack. In this Microgaming release, dealers stands on both hard and soft 17 and surrender feature is disabled.
As in most of Microgaming's blackjack releases, the lower bet limit is $1 and the maximum amount one can stake per hand is $1,000. In other words, the bet is capped at $5,000 on all five hands. Any regular hand is paid according to 1 to 1 payout ratio; blackjack is paid 3 to 2 and insurance 2 to 1, or $2 for every $1 you stake. The overall theoretical return to player is 99.42%.
Make sure to always split Aces and keep the face card pairs together as they are likely to be the winning hands. Players should simply stand with hands having higher total value as they can lead to a bust with an extra card. Soft pairs on the other hand can easily take an additional card, especially if the dealer holds 4 – 6 cards.
No more and no less than a regular blackjack with an added perk of some extra hands. Go classic with smaller bets or shift the gear at any time by increasing the number of hands as well as the level of your stake in this Microgaming's Gold series edition.
